About Masai Mara
Kenya's Masai Mara is probably the most popular of Kenya's National Parks beating the likes of Nakuru, Meru, aberdares national park, Mt Kenya and even amboseli with its vast herds of elephants.
For the Kenya safari seeker, a safari that includes or is exclusively a masai mara safari is a great choice.
Think of a wide open savannah plains with rolling grasslands and undulating hills. Yes and there are plenty of animals here.It really is the undisputed paradise for the sheer quantity and variety of wildlife.
It is here that Big Cat Diary, also known as Big Cat Week or Big Cat Live, a long-running nature documentary series on BBC television which follows the lives of African big cats was filmed.
As for actually getting there, we have a huge range of Masai Mara safari and tours ranging from short, intensive safaris to much longer itineraries that combine other great wildlife and travel destinations in Kenya and other parts of Africa including Egypt.
In fact, we've got a Masai Mara safari holiday for every taste and need:
We have several lodges that we highly recommend to our masai mara safari travellers and accommodation range from tented camps to safari lodges.
It's important to remember that the Mara River is a permanent water source for the area's animals and so even when the very last wildebeest has tardily set off for the southern Serengeti, massive resident herds remain, offering visitors everything they could want to see on an African safari.
Thus, a Masai Mara safari holiday provides a year-round safari experience that will live in your memory long after the dust of Africa has settled.
